                      Job Description :
                      SR MICROSOFT IIS ADMINISTRATOR
                      Duration: 7 months plus
                      Location: Melville, NY
                      RATE ALL INCLSUIVE – REMOTE DURING COVID BUT MUST RELOCATE ONCE RESOLVED

                      Pre-Qualifying Questions:
                      1. Do you have experience in installing and maintaining Microsoft IIS servers and software, develop scripts and establish configuration standards?
                      2. Do you have Experience in addressing and assisting in responses to security exploitations and compromises as required?
                      3. Do you have experience in assisting Application, Unix, Oracle DBA and Network Teams with capacity planning, testing and system integrations/ migrations?

                      Requirements:
                      Microsoft IIS Administrator 15+ years’ experience responsible for maintaining and updating both new and existing Web systems Responsible for integrating Web systems with existing systems
                      Responsibilities
                      Install and maintain Microsoft IIS servers and software, develop scripts and establish configuration standards, work with Oracle DBA’s on system setup
                      Act as primary and backup contact for Website related issues and provide basic training to other staff as required
                      Maintain and document revisions to Microsoft IIS, including system outages, to report on all aspects of system operations
                      Assist Application, Unix, Oracle DBA and Network Teams with capacity planning, testing and system integrations/ migrations
                      Address and assist in responses to security exploitations and compromises as required
                      Implement Web standards and processes for data center activities to measure performance, capability, capacity, etc
                      Gather statistics to assist in hardware requirements and network bandwidth to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability while providing direction and guidance to less experienced staff
                      Work closely with technology teams as required to prioritize activities and insure compliance to corporate and legal policies
                      Provide on-call support as required, during non-standard hours
                      Experience implementing Open Source technologies, recommend best practices, sizing and over all solution management
                      Understand business requirements, strategies and processes and understand the implication to system operations
                      Define SLA’s and drive to support them
                      Work closely with third party vendors

                      Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
